How is it possible to do something as simple as putting a bobby pin in your hair incorrectly. Well, chances are you’ve been wearing them the wrong way your entire life. Our minds were blown when we found out that bobby pins are supposed to be worn bumpy side down. The grooved side of the bobby pin should face down, against your scalp. The ribbed side is designed to grip hair and flat side is meant to push hair down and hold it into the grooves. This method also allows the bobby pin to hold more hair. So if you are wearing a bobby pin bumpy side up, it completely defeats the purpose! Will you start wearing your bobby pins with the grooved side down or will you stick with the usual technique.

Hold the cupcake in the palm of one hand. Rest the bottom of the cupcake in the palm of your non-dominant hand. Keep your hand steady so that the cupcake does not topple over. Use your other hand to tear the cupcake in half. Grip the center of the cupcake from the bottom using your dominant hand. Dig into the cupcake with your fingernails, twisting it gently simultaneously. Continue until the bottom breaks free from the top. Flip the bottom of the cupcake onto the top. Turn the bottom half of the cupcake upside-down so that the cut portion now faces downward. Place the bottom half over the top half and press it down into the frosting. Press well to secure the two halves together, using the frosting as an adhesive. Enjoy. Eat the cupcake by biting into as you would do with a sandwich or hamburger.

Hold all stemmed wine glasses (red, white, etc) towards the base of the stem between your thumb, forefinger and middle finger. You'll find that your other fingers will just rest on the base naturally. Don't worry, it's totally socially acceptable to swirl your wine.

The two-fingers-on-top method for holding the pen while writing. Pick up your pen and look at your hand. You'll have better control and a better writing angle if your pen rests over or just forward of the bottom knuckle on your index finger, not between thumb and index finger.

Cut and eat with a knife and fork. This is probably the most polite way in eating a pizza. It's also helpful in times where you have a load of toppings and want to taste everything in one bite. Fold the slice in half. Put the two sides together, so it'll create a "U" shape at the crust. If you have several loose toppings, especially at the bottom, you may need to either pick them off or hold them in place as you move it towards your mouth.
